Born in 1998 at Querétaro, Mexico in 1998.
Claudia Fernanda Rivera Franco, from an early age dedicated her free time to practicing taekwondo, jazz and ballet (with Royal Academy of Dance certificates in 2004 - 2015. Later in 2017, she entered the dance degree at UDLAP.
Throughout her journey she already danced for/ studied with important dance figures such as Patricia Lorena Solórzano, Yeajean Choi, Ray Schwartz, Ángel Arámbula and Henry Torres (Lux Boreal), Salim Lara, Jordan Fuchs, Shannon Mockli, Charles O. Anderson, Raúl Tamez, Patricia L. Solórzano, Julius Brewster Cotton, Susana Ordoñez , José J. Dimas, José Manuel Alcántara Cepeda, among others.
She has participated in workshops, festivals and / or activities by Agite y Sirva, LaCantera, FIDCDMX, FAD in Puebla, #BeYourVoice endorsed by UNESCO and Performática.
Her main interest is focused on multidisciplinary and choreographic creation, emphasizing in the employment of audiovisual format, plastic arts, stage production and cinematographic tools. This conjuncture seeks a means to describe her personal experiences and curiosities through aesthetic experiences of her works that enhance dramaturgy and choreography.
As a creator she has shown her choreographic work on several occasions to the college community and for first time in open spaces, at the International Baroque Museum in Puebla
Regarding her inclination to dance film content, Claudia's works had been selected more than 10 official selections in video-dance festivals around the world such as GUIAR, IN / MOTION, MIRA !, VideoSkin or MICE by mentioning some; in addition to collaborating with CIF FILMS in the making of the official music video of New York music band Night Powers "Let's Be Thieves "
Her most recent work in process ATMÓSFERAS seeks to deepen her interest in her nationalism and love for urban culture, Mexican folklore and her dismay at the situation of women in her own country.
